Carol Ludington possesses a unique perspective in dispute resolution from her varied experience as a damage expert in U.S. domestic litigation, U.S. arbitration and international arbitration; as a neutral, and as a consultant.

Through extensive experience in complex commercial litigation, she understands that each engagement is unique. She strives to identify critical issues early in each analysis to effectively provide a strategic, common-sense approach to complex evidence and concepts.

She is a CPA, Certified in Financial Forensics, and Certified Licensing Professional with over thirty years of experience in financial and business analysis and consideration of damages related to complex commercial and intellectual property disputes. She consults regarding initial damages assessments, alternative dispute resolution, licensing, and valuation considerations. She has been retained in hundreds of matters, has assisted preparation for trials and hearings, has testified in numerous trials, hearings and depositions, and has served as a sole arbitrator and as a member of arbitral panels.

Her experience includes consideration of financial, economic, licensing, accounting, marketing, management, damages, valuation, business operations and other issues in a wide range of commercial litigation and intellectual property matters. She has extensive experience in a variety of damage measures, including lost profits, reasonable royalties, price erosion, unjust enrichment and others. She has been involved in matters across numerous industries, including computers, software, telecommunications, medical, agricultural, services, and consumer and industrial products.

She is a frequent speaker and is involved in professional activities focused on improving domestic and international dispute resolution. In addition to presentations, she serves as a judge for international arbitration moot competitions, and participated in Working Group sessions of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law ("UNCITRAL").
